Hot Fox Pottery is a small, friendly pottery studio run by Alice and Tom Fox from our home in Brighton.
We've been making and teaching pottery for years, and you're learning from the people who actually run the place. Our loft studio is warm and homely, not a cold industrial unit.
Our classes run in small groups, which means we'll know your name and really care about your pots (and you might meet our cats, Alan and Dodo, too).
A relaxed, comfortable atmosphere and our extensive knowledge of pottery is what sets us apart. In our cosy upstairs studio you can step away from screens and outside pressures and focus on something mindful and creative. Because our groups are small, you get lots of individual attention whether you're a complete beginner or a more experienced potter.
We use high-end stoneware clay and a huge range of glazes, and we don't compromise on standards.
Choosing a small studio like ours means you can stretch yourself, try more techniques, and get real help achieving the look you want; more than you'd manage somewhere bigger.
