Pottery & Brunch Club @ The Park View

Course Description

In this beginner-friendly workshop you can get creative and make a lovely decorated cup, candle holder or plant pot, and then relax with a delicious bottomless brunch at the Park View pub. In the session you will be guided through the process of making a hand-built pinch-pot, which you can then choose to turn into a high-quality stoneware coffee cup, plant pot or tea-light holder. As it's hand-building you won't get too messy! If you have time you will be able to decorate your pot with coloured slips and the sgraffito (carving) technique, which makes every pot completely unique! You will get two glasses of bubbly during the workshop (which runs from 11am - 1pm), then you can enjoy more booze and food at a bottomless brunch immediately afterwards (1.15 - 2.45pm), cooked up by the fab chefs at The Park View. Your pot will be ready to collect from the pub around 6 weeks after the session, or can be posted to you for a small fee (payable on the day.) The total cost for the pottery and brunch club is £65, with you paying £43 to reserve your space and the remaining £27 payable directly to the pub on arrival.
