Half-day throwing workshop (2 people)

Course Description

In this 3-hour workshop, suitable for beginners and people who have done some throwing before, you will each get your own wheel to use, and can have a go at the fun and tricky skill of throwing some pots. You will get a demonstration on the wheel from your tutor and will be able to try centering, shaping your pot and trimming it as well. You will then choose from our lovely dipping glazes which we will apply to your pots after their first firing. The price includes the firing and glazing of the three best pieces you make. Plus hot drinks and an apron! If you want to throw more pots or get the chance to explore some decoration techniques for the pieces you have made, you can choose the full-day session instead (which includes lunch.) Pottery can be posted when it is ready if you are unable to collect.
